Earlier this year we informed you we would be conducting a search for a new, full-time Assistant Director to help support the continued growth of Camp Moshava Ennismore. We are therefore delighted to announce that Samara Yunger will be joining Camp Moshava Ennismore as Assistant Director, beginning in September 2022.
For the last four years, Samara has been Head of Camp at Moshava Ba’ir Toronto where she has done a fantastic job in planning and organizing one of the fastest growing Jewish day camps in North America. Samara will remain in that role until after Summer 2022.
Samara grew up in Thornhill and attended Camp Moshava Ennismore as a chanicha and madricha. Even while studying for her Special Education and Art degree at Bar Ilan University, and then working as Special Ed. teacher, Samara stayed close to her love of summer programming with roles at Mach Hach Ba’Aretz, Kol HaNearim and Camp Moshava Alevy.
Samara made Aliyah eleven years ago and shortly thereafter married Ami Yunger (Montreal), whom she had first met in Eidah Gimmel at our Camp. They now live in Jerusalem with their two beautiful children, Itiel (4) and Adaya (1).
Samara is very excited to be bringing all her skills, experience and Camp knowledge to her new role with us. She is also very much looking forward to continuing her relationships with many of the campers, parents, and staff who are affiliated with both Moshava Ba’ir Toronto and Camp Moshava Ennismore.
